In response to the ongoing spread of COVID-19, TTS has enacted an additional set of policies and practices to ensure the health and safety of all our staff and visitors to our office premises. We are asking our staff to take simple, common-sense steps to avoid close contact with other persons as much as possible, like you would do to prevent your exposure to a seasonal flu virus. The goal is to decrease the number of situations that potentially expose our staff to the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

In addition to the policies and guidance below, further guidance and programmes are being assessed as more information becomes known and available. These policies and guidance are subject to change as more information comes to hand. The following policies and guidelines will be in place from today, 9.00am 21 May 2020;

1. We encourage all staff to maintain exemplary levels of personal hygiene and health, inclusive of;

  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze, then dispose of the tissue to a rubbish receptacle and immediately wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
  • Generally wash your hands often and thoroughly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands.

2. Stay away from situations which could expose you, or others you are with, from exposure to COVID-19 inclusive of large social gatherings and events;

3. There is zero tolerance to sickness in the office or at work - if you are sick or unwell, then you are required to stay home on sick leave until you recover. You must immediately communicate your reasons for sick leave to your business line manager as early as possible on the first morning of your sick leave;

4. All overseas travel for business is prohibited. All personal overseas travel is strongly discouraged;

5. Where you have travelled overseas for any reason within the last month from the date of these policies and guidance, then you are required to immediately report your travel particulars to the Managing Director;

6. Where you live in a household and anyone living in that household (or anyone having visited that household over the past month) has travelled overseas within the last month from the date of these policies and guidance, then you are required to immediately report your circumstances to the Managing Director.
